Application types

Entering Freshmen: Select "Freshman - New Student" from the Application Type drop-list list.
Undergraduate Transfers: Select "Transfer" from the Application Type drop-list list.
Readmission: Select "Undergraduate Readmission" from the Application Type drop-list list.
Non-degree: Select "Non-Degree - Undergraduate " from the Application Type drop-list list.
High School Concurrent Enrollment: See the Apply for Concurrent Admission page for more information.
Graduate Students: Follow the Graduate School's application procedures. See the Graduate School for more information.
Undergraduate and Graduate International Students: See International Students for more information.

First time users must create a Login ID and a PIN. Write down your login information and keep it secure so that you'll be able to log back in at a later time.
Login to the Admissions Form using the account you created.

Note: If you're unable to submit your application electronically, you can download a printable version of the Application for Undergraduate Admissions and submit it the Office of Admissions.

Complete an online or hardcopy application for admission.
Submit the $20 nonrefundable application fee (required for non-degree applications only) by check or money order to the address below. Be sure to include your full name and birth date on the check. Please do not send cash.
Have your high school counselor or registrar send your most recent official transcripts to the Admissions Office at:

Have your official ACT or SAT test scores sent to NMSU

After your final semester of high school, please have your final official transcript sent to the NMSU Admissions Office to complete your admission.
