Concurrent Enrollment Program
The Concurrent Enrollment Program is designed to give high school students an opportunity to enroll at NMSU prior to high school graduation. Through this program, high school juniors and seniors may enroll in both high school and University courses.

- Students may only enroll in NMSU General Education Courses (100 and 200 level) which are listed in the course catalog.
- Placement in math courses will be determined by either the ACT/SAT math score or the results of the Math Placement Exam. Students who wish to take a college level math course must place in Math 185 or higher.
- Courses must be taken for a letter grade (no audits or S/U grades).
- All coursework attempted is recorded on the student's permanent academic record at NMSU.
- Students must earn a minimum 2.0 grade point average in the NMSU Course to continue in the Concurrent Enrollment Program.
- Students enrolled in the program are subject to all University academic regulations found in the NMSU Undergraduate Catalog.
- Students are responsible for the cost of tuition, fees, and books. Financial aid and scholarships are not available for this program. Students whose parents are employees of NMSU may be eligible for a reduced tuition rate.
