Qualifying for Admission
High School Concurrent Enrollment

The Concurrent Enrollment Program is designed to give high school students an opportunity to enroll at NMSU prior to high school graduation. Through this program, high school juniors and seniors may enroll in both high school and University courses.

Concurrent Admission Requirements

Students must have a 3.0 cumulative high school grade point average or an ACT composite of 21 (SAT 980).

Students must have completed most of the following high school courses:

  • 4 units of English
  • 3 units of Math (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry)
  • 2 units of Science (beyond General Science)
  • 1 unit of a language other than English or a unit of fine art.
