College is an investment for a lifetime. Be sure to explore your financial assistance opportunities through our Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarship Services.

Entering Freshmen, Undergraduate Transfers, and Readmission

Once you have registered for courses, the state requires that you make financial arrangements to pay your tuition in order to remain registered in your classes. You may meet this requirement by: paying for your courses in full; paying 10% and participating in the payment plan; or by submitting the necessary waiver or third party deferred billing agreements to the Business Office by the registration deadlines.

High School Concurrent Enrollment

Once you have registered for your courses, you may pay your tuition by cash, check or charge through the Accounts Receivable Office located in the Educational Services Building.

Children of NMSU employees may be eligible for a special tuition rate. Contact Benefit Services at 646-1741 or see the Reduced Tuition Program for Dependent Children information on the Office of Human Resources website.
