Course Advising Undergraduate Transfers

photos of NMSU

Students transferring to NMSU must contact an advisor in their college to arrange an advising and registration appointment. Your advisor will verify that credits from your previous institutions have been evaluated and assist you with selecting the appropriate courses to pursue your degree.

In most cases your credits will have been evaluated before you see an advisor. However, due to the large number of transfer applicants, some evaluations may not be completed prior to advising. It is helpful to bring an unofficial copy of your transcripts to share with your advisor.
